After graduating from Harvard College in 1991, Jeff spent three years employed on Wall Street and also in California as an investment banker at CS 1st Boston. At this position, Jeff Barcy helped to raise billions of dollars for finance companies and as well as savings & loaning enterprises. Then he chose to carry on his education and enrolled at the Harvard Business School between 1994-1996.
Jeff Barcy graduated obtaining M.B.A. in June of 96. He then joined the office of Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette (DLJ) in 1996 as an Associate, and worked his way all the way up through the ranks over the course of nine years to become a Director in its investment banking division. For the time of his tenure at the investment bank, Jeff worked on $20 billion of IPOs, mergers & acquisitions and equity and loan financings for a number of businesses.
In 2007, Jeff Barcy made the decision to begin building Ridgeback Partners to take full advantage of business opportunities in currently the distressed real estate current market place; he employed an investment bank in which to raise institutional capital and secured capital commitments from a good number of institutional investors.
